STRONGSVILLE, Ohio \u2014<\/strong> Foundation Software<\/a>, developer of FOUNDATION\u00ae job cost accounting software for the construction industry, has been named a 2019 Smart Culture Award<\/a> recipient by Smart Business Magazine<\/a>. Honorees were commended for their commitment to keeping their employees and strong corporate cultures central to their businesses.<\/p>\n

Foundation was also recently presented with an inaugural Ohio Success Award<\/a> by Ohio Business Magazine<\/a>. Ohio Success Awards recognize businesses and leaders who demonstrate consistent success.<\/p>\n

According to Foundation Software Founder Fred Ode, the key to the company\u2019s success is its strong culture of positivity and gratitude. \u201cWe see the best in people and do everything we can to take care of our employees \u2014 and always show them how much we appreciate them,\u201d said Ode. \u201cIt\u2019s important to us that employees know we care about each of them and that we treat them like family.\u201d<\/p>\n

In fact, many of Foundation\u2019s employees are family. Many employees are related or knew each other before starting with the company: siblings, couples, college roommates and more. Ode has found that the close-knit company dynamic, reinforced by this robust internal referral program, has strengthened operations and performance.<\/p>\n

To further bolster employee engagement and show the company\u2019s appreciation, Foundation offers comprehensive wellness and employee appreciation programs. Monthly company-sponsored events include educational lunch and learns, ice cream trucks, and a company Olympics.
